Axel Bergmann (born 1958) has extensive experience in the fields of industry and banking. He specialises in performance and result focused consulting projects.
After completing a banking apprenticeship in business studies at the University of Münster and Hamburg and a one year trainee programme in Great-Britain, Axel worked for 15 years in the International Investment Banking and Private Equity division of Deutsche Bank. Whilst in this role he gained a detailed understanding and knowledge of Due Diligence (company auditing) and Business Valuation processes, as well as in structuring and realiza-tion of strategic corporate plans, together with arrangement and supervision of key con-tracts.
In 2000, Axel changed his business focus from the banking sector to industry where he secured a position as Commercial Director of a medium-sized enterprise within the metal industry. Since 2005 he has operated as a freelance consultant, assisting clients with the development of financial business strategies and providing interim management. He joined Prologis Cooperation as a partner in 2005.
Axel Bergmann is married and a father of four.
